Ruffles are so in right now, and I’m loving it. There’s a ruffle for every style too, whether you are edgy, trendy, or bohemian you can always find a ruffle to suit your style. I’ve teamed up with Pink Blush who has several stunning ruffle pieces to share with you 4 reasons to love the ruffle trend.
- They’re versatile. This pretty much speaks for itself, but you can dress ruffles up or down. Slide on your favorite heel for date night or throw on a pair of tennis shoes for casual errands around town. Either way, ruffles are the star of the outfit.
- They’re sophisticated. There’s something simplistically elegant about ruffles. Even when donned on a casual sweatshirt, the ruffle says, “I’m cas, but a classy cas.”
- They’re timeless. I feel like the ruffle trend is one that should never go out of style. If you’re looking for that extra oomph for your outfit, add a ruffle and you won’t be disappointed. It’s the perfect statement piece that adds the right amount of flare without trying too hard.
- They’re youthful. I may be alone on this one, but ruffles remind me of being a young. As a little girl, my Mom always dressed me in ruffles whenever she could so, for me, when I wear ruffles, it takes me back to a simpler time. I love being a girly girl, and ruffles are the perfect accessory for that.
Pink Blush has some amazing shirts, dresses, and cardigans in stock right now that are totally killing the ruffle trend game. They’re just gorgeous!
This one I love because you can never go wrong with a good cream colored shirt, am I right? I also love the chicness of the mock turtleneck in addition to the ruffle at the end of the sleeve. The sleeve actually has adjustable ties, so you can make the ruffle as pronounced as you want. I tied mine a little tighter so the ruffle really flared.
This Lavender color is just gorg. Pictures don’t do it justice. Ruffles plus the cold shoulder just really make this top a must-have for your closet. It’s also super flowy which is perfect for date night because food baby, right? Also perfect for camouflaging my Mommy pudge. (It’s there, I promise.) It also has the tie sleeves, but they aren’t adjustable like the last top, but that allows you to tie them whichever way you like.
How do you feel about the ruffle trend, and what’s your favorite way to style them?
