buy me a rose lyrics I think we all know me well enough by now that if something is bothering me I’m going to take to this space to write about it. Lately, it’s been LuLaRoe. I’ve recently joined the ranks of many other Lula loving women to become your newest LuLaRoe Consultant. For weeks, I’ve been busting my butt, marketing myself, and getting the proper supplies ready to run a successful business. For weeks, I’ve also been inundated with negative feed back from friends, strangers, blog posts, and even status updates professing their complete and utter annoyance with the brand.
how to buy neurontin online Some people think they’re funny, some are just down right rude, and others don’t really care, but agree and just don’t “get” it. I’m totally for freedom of speech, but there comes a point in time when I can no longer continue to scroll past posts and ignore the negativity when I see comments like, “You’re a freak if you wear this stuff.” Do you know what a freak is by definition? Let me tell you, a freak is a person, animal, or plant with a physical abnormality. A freak is also defined as a verb as behaving in a wild and irrational way, typically because of the effects of extreme emotion, mental illness, or drugs. Seriously y’all? And you want to call the people who like to wear crazy patterned leggings a freak? Come on now. Stop being a bully.
This would’ve bothered me normally as a customer who enjoys LuLaRoe clothing, but now that I’m a consultant and a part of this amazing company it bothers me so much more. This is more than just clothes, and I know most of you who hate LuLaRoe to no end can’t understand that, but it is. You don’t have to love it, no one is asking you to! No one is taking $25 from your wallet and giving you crazy patterned leggings, so let it be. Let the ones who love and swear by these clothes relish in their new love of fashion, but please, I’m begging you, stop calling them freaks because these women are anything but that.
You are calling the woman who has gone through 4 failed rounds of IVF, who desperately searched high and low for stork leggings to commemorate her 5th round being the golden ticket, a freak.
You are calling the woman who is a size 22 and finally found clothes that make her feel like the beautiful woman she is, a freak.
You are calling the fur mom who just lost her best friend and sports those paw print leggings proudly in memory of her beloved pup, a freak.
You are calling the pregnant Mom who hates the way her body is changing and finally found something not only comfortable but stylish to wear while lugging an extra 25lbs on the front of her body, a freak.
You are calling the new Mom who hasn’t quite figured out her new body postpartum, but found a sliver of confidence in our clothes, a freak.
You are calling the Tween who picked the brightest leggings on the planet because she simply just loves them, a freak. What if that was your daughter?
You are calling buy prednisone every.single.one of us freaks for loving the clothes we wear. What if I called you a freak because of something so arbitrary? Wouldn’t you be offended?
LuLaRoe is not a freak show, so stop identifying it as that. The prints may be obnoxious to you, but to someone else they are so much more, and if you weren’t so busy calling people unnecessary names, you’d know that LuLaRoe is more than just obnoxious prints, that some things actually come in solid colors. Gasp! I know, mind blown, right?
And to the Consultants you’ve deemed annoying or another one of “those” Moms, why? What is so wrong with us? We are out there hustling trying to make a living just like you. Unless I’ve annoyed you personally by pushing my leggings in your face, you have no grounds to judge me based on my choice of occupation, but go ahead, because I’m the one with financial freedom who genuinely loves her job. I’m the one who makes a difference in women’s lives daily. I’m the one who gets to boost the confidence of women across the country by simply creating an outfit for her that she loves. I’m the one who has met a multitude of amazing women through an even more amazing company. And I’m the one who took a chance on this “Freak Show” and has had nothing but success while you sit behind a computer screen judging and calling people names.
So, don’t mind me, I’m just going to be over here being a “freak” while building other women up instead of tearing them down.
